SCAI THE BATHHOUSE is a contemporary art gallery known for introducing Japan's avant-garde artists to the world as well as organizing evocative exhibitions of prominent artists from abroad.
In recent years SCAI also focuses on discovering young talents in Japanese and Asian art scene.
The galley was opened in 1993 as a renovation of unique building of traditional Japanese bath house design.
