We're happy to announce that 101TOKYO will be represented at this week's Pecha Kucha Night at Superdeluxe in Nishi Azabu. Come down and see director, Jason Jenkins and communications director, Kosuke Fujitaka, give a brief overview of 101TOKYO: its debut in 2008 and what to expect in 2009.

Considering the current international economic climate, 101TOKYO 2009 is
proud to report that in addition to a number of returning international galleries,
we welcome new participants from Austria, China, Italy, Mexico and the
United States.
This year's 101TOKYO 2009 will also emphasize new and upcoming
Japanese galleries and artists while offering a public program that both
addresses global art trends for art professionals and introduces
contemporary art to the general public.

Announcements will soon follow about other artists projects, the 2009 lecture
series, our educational program and more.

Volunteers wanted for 101TOKYO 2009!

TOKYO, Japan / February 1, 2009

[Job Description]
101TOKYO, the first international contemporary art fair in Japan is
looking for volunteer staff during the fair, 1st of April to 5th of
April. This is very exciting opportunity for anyone who has an
interest in Contemporary Art and event organizing.

[Tasks]
* Operational Staff
* Interpreter: English/Japanese, Chinese/Japanese, French/ Japanese,
Korean/Japanese, Spanish/Japanese
* Recording Staff by still photos or video

[Compensation]
101TOKYO 2009 Catalog and a ticket to the fair

[Hours]
More than 4 hours a day on any day during the fair, April 1st to April 5th
